After the presentations of the online section, which continued until 17:00, and the closing session that followed, the EDEA 2024 Symposium came to an end.
The esteemed academics who attended the closing session made some evaluations and suggestions to the symposium organizing committee and their young colleagues. They drew attention to issues such as grouping the papers according to their relevance to each other; reconsidering the break times; including more papers on the first day in planning the symposium days; while preparing the papers, young academics should keep their theoretical grounds strong, pay attention to the distinction between theory and method, and show the necessary care while visualizing and presenting the information.
In conclusion, the Literature, Language and Education Research-EDEA 2024 symposium was an important academic meeting point in the field of literature, language and education in the capital of our Republic. Important contributions were made to the field with the papers presented and discussions held at the symposium. A consensus was reached to organize the symposium every year in the capital Ankara with face-to-face and online sessions and with a wide participation. We would like to take this opportunity to once again thank all stakeholders and participants who contributed to the organization of the symposium.
